Message Center Steps Test

1. Login using your LAN ID followed by "@aafes.com"

2. Ensure you are launching the Message Center site on a recommended browser (Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge).  

3. Ensure you are not on any protected networks that may prohibit access to 3rd party sites.  

4. If you experience any issues, try clearing your browser cache or launching from an incognito window. 

Please follow the steps below in Chrome to clear your browser cache: 

On your computer, open Chrome. 

At the top right, click More. 

Click More tools. Clear browsing data. 

At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time. 

Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes. 

Click Clear data.

What is Message Center?

Message Center is a mobile content publishing tool for the Digital Garrison app.

How do I reset my 90-day password?

Login to https://myapps.aafes.com/ with your AAFES LAN ID and current password and select “Password Reset” to create a new 90-day personal password. You will need to reset your passwords every 90 days before they expire.

How do I reset my 90-day password after it expires?

Reach out to the 24x7 helpdesk: 800-289-3800 with your LAN ID and request a password reset for a Message Center user. If your DUO account has also expired, please provide the helpdesk with your personal cell-phone number for DUO two-factor authentication.  
* It is recommended to set an alert on your calendar to remind you to login and reset your password at least every 90 days before account access expires due to inactivity.

How do I send a Notification?

Go to "Send Message" on the left-hand menu. Select a Notification category from the drop-down list, then, fill in text fields with copy and select "Submit".

Can I send a test Push Notification?

Please do not send any "test" messages. This is the live version of the tool and all message will be sent to the Production version of the app. The Message Center has a QA team that tests the Message Center in lower environments daily.
